This will be a Mascot Themed Contest.

You will need to create two mascots. The winners will get prizes, recognition and credit displayed on the group’s page for all to see.
Participants can submit twice (2 different characters per concept) You need to be a member to submit to the contest
You have the freedom to create two mascots that can be either:
The same species of two animals, (Ex: a budgie and a canary) (Two budgies)
Two different species (Ex: a cat and a racoon)
Mix things up and make them interesting!

~*Requirements*~
Two characters, no more, no less.
Animal characters only.
Full body portraits of both mascots, they will be reference for future contests.
Your characters will be made and used by this group only and you have to state in the Artist's Comments that it is for the #TheAnimalsWent2-by-2 Mascot Contest.
Art and characters you are proud of. Remember they will be representing a club.
You can choose their names.

Traditional, finished and clean.
Digital
Photography (zoo or wild animals, does not include your pets)

~*Things that will lead to disqualification*~
No already established, copy righted characters.
No Anime (Animal humanoids), Disney or Cartoon animal creatures (Examples, Loony Tunes, Tom and Jerry, MLP, Lady and the Tramp, Ice Age, etc)
No already existing OC’s that you’ve created in the past, they must be brand new.
Please, no art with physical violence and injuries. No Taxidermy, animal abuse or pelts.
No sexual content is allowed in this contest.
Entrees must follow the rules of dA, no stolen art work.
